Jodie Love is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who completed her Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in 2012 from Bangor University in the United Kingdom. She subsequently spent the next 11 years working internationally across homes, centers and schools in the UK, Middle East, South-East Asia and most recently, United States. Jodie has extensive experience working with children with Autism and related developmental delays and is passionate about creating highly engaging verbal behavior programs, compassionately treating challenging behavior, developing meaningful social skills and reducing food selectivity. She enjoys working closely alongside parents to empower them to be their child’s strongest advocate and most effective teacher.
The name "Essence" comes from the philosophy that our approach is not trying to change an individual's intrinsic personality, soul or "essence," but instead enhance development and promote meaningful gains that will allow them to contact more opportunities and social connections throughout their lives.
